Super Bowl Draft
- Updated: January 7, 2025

Here we are! We have reached the playoffs. And with that we have our Super Bowl Draft. The order is set for the Top 14 Swami Leaguers, in the order of your 2024 Regular Season points finish.
The team you select in the draft could be worth 11 points if they win Super Bowl LIX on February 9th in New Orleans. During the playoffs, all players will pick each game against the spread with results scoring various points outcomes:
Underdog Wins Game: 3 Points
Favorite Wins, covers spread: 2 Points
Underdog Loses, beats spread: 2 Points
Favorite Wins, Doesn’t Cover: 1 Point
Underdog Loses, with spread: 0 Points
Favorite Loses Game: 0 Points
Selected Team Wins Super Bowl: 11 Points
Note: All players carry their current score total into the playoffs.
Regarding the Super Bowl:
The 2 players with the two teams playing in the Super Bowl are locked with those 2 teams for the Super Bowl game itself, resulting in either 11 points (win), or 0 points (loss) and it is a straight up, no spread game for them. (You can pick against your Super Bowl team in all other playoff games, depending on the point spread if desired.) All other players pick the Super Bowl game with the spread and receive 3 to 0 points depending on the outcome. Players not in the Super Bowl can still win the title if their point total is the top overall score. As mentioned, you carry your total season points into the playoffs where you add playoff scores earned throughout each round, all the way through to the Super Bowl.
Important! Tiebreakers: In the event of a tie, here is the plain and the simple:
Super Bowl Winner is the main tiebreaker. If you tied with another player, whoever had the Super Bowl winning team among the two or more tied, that player is the champion. If the rarity that neither of the players had the Super Bowl winner, then the player who had the highest point total in the regular season is the champion. If still tied, then it is the LOCKS total that decides it. If still tied, then we have co-champions, and the pot is split.
*All players, including those who did not make the playoffs (i.e. did not get to draft a Super Bowl Team) will continue to make their picks to complete their season.
*There are no more LOCKS. Locks are only chosen in the regular season.
Winners Payouts:
Locks Champ: 75 $ (free play of the season)
Regular Season Points Champ: 150 $
Swami Champion: Pot Balance $
Good luck everyone!
