Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson are certainly razing an eyebrow in this Sunday’s matchup.
In a commercial for “Madden NFL 25”, the two quarterbacks agree to make a bet. The loser in the game Sunday night between their teams has to shave off an eyebrow. They shake on it, and Kaepernick says, “All right, I hope you don’t like your eyebrow.”
Kaepernick, in a conference call Wednesday with Seattle reporters, wouldn’t answer the eyebrow question: “You will have to ask Russell,” he said. Kaepernick also had little to say about the commercial shoot with Wilson.
“I just met him for the one day,” he said. Had you two had any other relationship before the commercial? “No,” Kaepernick said bluntly.
Wilson, on the other hand, had a lot of to say about his day with Kaepernick.
“I got to know him a little bit,” Wilson said. “He’s a great person, and obviously he’s very dedicated to what he does. You like him for that, for sure. He’s got a lot of talent. You love watching him play. He can do a lot of great things, and I’ve got a lot of respect for him.”
Wilson was asked how he compares to Kaepernick.
“He’s a lot taller than me [5-foot-11 to 6-4] and he pretty fast, too,” Wilson said. “Obviously, we have a lot of similar abilities in terms of running the ball and making things happen. He’s a long-strider and I’m more of a quick guy who tries to avoid people. But I love the way he plays. He doesn’t shy away from big games and you respect that as a quarterback.”
