Swami Bowl VI
- Updated: February 3, 2017

In the closest Swami season ever, Mark Newberg and Joe Mendes face off in this year’s Swami Bowl. These two led the season for a combined 14 of 17 weeks, edging out the Connor duo for most of the way to end up in the annual final game. For Newberg, it could be an unprecedented third Swami Title, and for Mendes, his first in only his 2nd season in Swami League. Mendes has the Atlanta Falcons who are 3.5 point underdogs in Super Bowl 51. Many are pinning their hopes to Mendes who is a fan favorite in the league to beat everyone’s nemesis Mark Newberg, the trash talking gloater who has the despised Patriots. Mixed feelings for Joe Mendes who is a Patriots fan, but a Swami Championship may prove more gratifying since the Patriots have enough hardware in their trophy shelves.
Let the best player win. It has been truly a fun season that can only end up with a great champion.
