Cressman, Amodeo to Swami Bowl
- Updated: January 22, 2018
Andy Cressman has made his way through the playoffs and will face the 6th Seed 2-Time Swami Mike Amodeo in the 2018 Swami Bowl. Amodeo’s strong performance in the playoffs along with his Eagles pick advanced him to the big game and another shot at the crown he hasn’t held since 2010. Cressman, on the other hand, has sat at the top for months and survived with his top pick (Patriots) to get him through to his first Swami Bowl.
The line has New England favored by 4.5 points, but it doesn’t matter to these two. It’s simply all-or-nothing, with the victor comes the crown. Cressman and Amodeo have battled all season in Fantasy Football, with Cressman eliminating Amodeo in the playoffs. Will Amodeo get his revenge as an underdog with the Eagles facing Cressman with Tom Brady and the Patriots? It will be a great matchup and we’ll all see in two weeks.
For Wayne Connor, a great showing in his 2nd Swami season, who was eliminated with the Vikings unable to be the first team to get to the Super Bowl played in their home stadium. Wayne finished 2nd in the regular season by a single point to Cressman. If he had the top spot, surely a Patriots pick would have him standing in the big game. For Joe Mendes, he narrowly missed getting to the Swami Bowl for consecutive seasons with the Jaguars falling short to New England after leading for most of the game. It took more Patriots magic to uphend the upstart Jaguars, who should be good for years to come. Congratulations to all for a great season.
Now on to the Swami Bowl!
