Cryin’ Wolves
- Updated: October 6, 2013

We’ve got 3 Lone Wolves this week, the most so far this season. Newberg is going solo on the ‘Boys, K-Van gambles with the Titans, and Holly is the only one taking the Bengals who are only a half-point favorite over the Patriots. In a bit of a surprise, there was a 4-4 split on the Jaguars and the Rams, but hey the spread plays a big part in a game where both teams are lacking on offense. The Bengals-Patriots are almost a “Pick ‘Em” at 0.5, but alas we have a Lone Wolf sighting in Cincy, where the heavy rain will play a part.
Newberg believes the Cowboys will crack the Broncos streak of winning by double-digit points, and he is putting his own double-digit win streak on the line by doing so. We’ll see what the Cowboys secondary can do, but it probably won’t be pretty. Kevin sees Tennessee and backup QB Ryan Fitzpatrick taking it to the undefeated Chiefs, at least playing them close enough to get the rare spread win.
As we know, if you go it alone the glory is all yours in victory. However, the other 7 will be licking their chops. Who’s the wolf now?
