Bills Pay Out
- Updated: October 5, 2020

Josh Allen completed 24 of 34 passes for 288 yards, threw for two touchdowns, and rushed for another to lead the Buffalo Bills to a 30-23 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
Buffalo has opened 4-0 for the first time in 12 years. The Bills have scored 30 points in three consecutive games, and are averaging 30.75 points per game, third highest in the NFL.
Las Vegas (2-2) lost its second straight game, marking the Raiders’ first loss inside the shiny new $2 billion Allegiant Stadium.
The offense for the Bills (4-0) continues to put up points and show quick-strike capability. And the defense, which has had its problems coming up with key plays at critical moments, made those plays late in Sunday’s game to help the seal the victory.
Josh Allen connected on touchdown passes to rookie Gabriel Davis and to Cole Beasley as the Bills led 17-13 at halftime.
The defense had been giving up a lot of ground, but veteran cornerback Josh Norman, who made his Bills debut after starting the season with a hamstring injury, forced a key fumble in the fourth quarter.
Allen hit Stefon Diggs for a 49-yard gain on the next play, which set up a Devin Singletary touchdown to give the Bills a 30-16 lead.
Quinton Jefferson then forced another fumble, and Buffalo held on late to notch the road win.
There was a big scare in the second quarter, however, when Allen had to go to the locker room in the second quarter after landing on his left shoulder. He came back and completed 24 of 34 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns.
Up next for the Bills is a game next Sunday with the Tennessee Titans, who are dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak that is now up to 20 cases, including 18 positive tests since Tuesday.
