McCafferty is Swami
- Updated: February 14, 2022
A new champion is crowned. Sean McCafferty’s golden season has culminated to a Swami Championship, overwhelming the field of 21 players. Sean has led the pack since October and only briefly was challenged. His win marks the first time a champion hails from Florida and the Sunshine State couldn’t be more proud of the Frigid Floridian.
McCafferty sealed his title before the Super Bowl, with the Cincinnati Bengals upset of the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game. Sean also becomes the youngest Swami since Ivan Soto in 2008-09.
Jackie Bernitt repeated as runner up for the second straight season, which is noteworthy as it is also just her 2nd season of Swami. This is also McCafferty’s second run at the league, and after finishing 8th in his initial campaign, has now broken through to join the elite club of Swami’s.
Congratulations Sean, you were the best this season and throughout the playoffs making no mistake that you were the rightful champion.
Thanks to all making this an exciting and thoroughly fun Swami Season 15!
