Welcome To Season 17!

As summer waves goodbye, football–glorious football, is here to embrace our wary hearts and bring us months of joy as the leaves turn and the sun gets lower on the horizon. Season 17 kicks off on Thursday Night Football this week with the Super Bowl Champion Chiefs hosting the most promising Detroit Lions team in their history. Both offenses are high-flying, so the debut game of the season could produce fireworks.

Good Luck to everyone this season, we are happy to have everyone back to dethrone the current Swami Paul Alexander, or maybe see him repeat which is a feat that few have done before.

This season sees many familiar faces in new places, most notably here in New York with the Jets signing veteran Aaron Rodgers and stacking the deck with other acquisitions like RB Dalvin Cook. Paired with a young fast defense, the Jets could be legitimate contenders. It’s been a while since those words have been spoken.

The Chiefs, Bengals, Eagles, and 49ers still look good and teams will be hard pressed to overcome their hold. The next tier of teams, Chargers, Cowboys, Bills, Lions, and Ravens, could emerge as well as expected jumps by the Jaguars, Dolphins, and Seahawks.
